Newsletter January 2015
We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who helped organise, donated or attended the Christmas Fayre. It was a great success and we raised £388.80 towards the buying new equipment for indoor play.
Thank you to the following for their support Midland Railway Centre, Crich Tramway Museum, Birchwood Stables, Coop, Tesco, Scented Willow, Ritz Cinema Belper, Sainsbury’s and Sally Montague Hair salon Belper.
Welcome to all of our new starters
We wish you all a big warm welcome and hope your child enjoys the start of their education with us. If you have any concerns please speak to a member of staff.
Absence from Pre School
If your child can’t attend Pre School for any reason please call us and let us know and the reason for their absence. If you are going on holiday please ask for a holiday form. We need to record absence reasons to comply with our Derbyshire County Council contract.
Come and join us on a session
Pre School has a dated rota, which parents can sign if they would like to help at a particular session or sessions of the setting. Helping at the session enables parents to see what the day-to-day life of Pre School is like and to join in helping the children to get the best out of their activities. To help your child settle it is not advisable to be on the rota the first term your child starts Pre School. We look forward to welcoming you at a session soon!
There will be opportunity in February for new starters parents/ carers to see your child’s key person and for any other parents/ carers who have any concerns they wish to discuss with us.
